The acquisition of PMOGA® by PMI® is a strategic move that will benefit both organizations and the project management community as a whole. PMI® is the world's leading organization for project management professionals, and PMOGA® is the largest global community of PMOs and PMO professionals. By acquiring PMOGA®, PMI® is demonstrating its commitment to supporting experienced PMO professionals throughout their careers.

Enhanced resources and peer learning opportunities for current and aspiring PMO professionals: PMI®'s acquisition of PMOGA® will provide PMO professionals with access to a wider range of resources and peer learning opportunities. This includes access to PMOGA®'s catalog of educational resources, events, and certifications.

Up-to-date knowledge on the evolving role of PMOs: The acquisition also recognizes the evolving role of PMOs, which have shifted from implementing standard processes to influencing organizational strategy. PMI® and PMOGA® can collaborate to develop and deliver up-to-date knowledge and resources to help PMO professionals adapt to this changing landscape.

PMI's acquisition of PMOGA® will further strengthen PMI's voice in the project management community and in the public arena. This will allow PMI to more effectively advocate for the interests of project management professionals and promote the project management profession.

PMI members will now have access to these resources and events, which will help them to develop their skills and knowledge.
